Set in the heart of the Alps, La Serraz naturally offers superb views of the mountains that surround it, which is particularly pleasant when swimming in the parc’s pools. Shimmering Lake Annecy is easily accessible from the parc, with a lake beach just 1km away and activities that include swimming, all sorts of watersports and pleasure boat trips. The village of Doussard is only a short walk away, with shops, a restaurant and a bar, which are especially useful when the parc’s facilities are closed in low season. Annecy itself, with its flower-lined canals and arcaded streets is a great attraction, while both Italy and Switzerland are just a short drive away.
